Elitch’s Island Kingdom water park splashes open on Memorial Day Weekend when Colorado’s largest theme and water park swings into full everyday operation.
“We have been busily preparing for another great season of fun,” says Layne Pitcher, Elitch Gardens’ Marketing Director. “Our team has put in over 73,000 man hours for park preparation and training, ordered more than 100,000 souvenir cups and greater than 200,000 stuff animals and planted in excess of 7,200 pansies, so you can bet the park is ready to serve up another memorable season!”
