Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park Announces Fourth of July Fireworks Show;
Plus Dive-In Movies for Family Fun Set to Beat the Summer Heat
Denver, CO (June 25, 2014) – Summer is officially underway and Elitch Gardens is gearing up for more excitement as July nears! In honor of Independence Day, Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park will light up the Downtown Denver skyline with their annual Fireworks show. Families can celebrate this patriotic and fun-filled holiday by spending the day in the theme and water park, riding coasters, cruising down water slides, enjoying classic American BBQ, and watching in amazement as the night comes to a close with a fireworks extravaganza that is not to be missed.
The family entertainment continues with Dive-In Movies. Guests can bring the family out to the Water Park for an evening of cinematic fun in the water and float in the wave pool while watching Disney flicks on the big screen for a perfect summertime night out! The first Dive-In movie will be aquatically themed for its Water Park viewing, with Finding Nemo showing on the big screen this Friday, June 27th. The summer cinema series continues throughout July with a Sing-A-Long version of Frozen on July 11th and everyone’s favorite minions in Despicable Me 2 on July 25th! All movies will start at 7:30 P.M. above the Wave Pool, with a Disney pre-show starting at 6:30 P.M. for Finding Nemo and Frozen. Guests are advised to bring towels and blankets for open seating and to arrive early, as seating is limited.
