Denver’s Largest Halloween Event Comes Alive

Elitch Gardens Fright Fest Starts September 30 

DENVER, CO (September 28, 2016) – Elitch Gardens Theme Park comes alive for Halloween with all the screams, scares, and thrills guests can handle on Friday, September 30th . This year’s event will boast hoards of undead creatures, creepy clowns and three new TERRORtories after dark and tricks and treats for the little ones throughout the day. Denver’s largest Halloween event will haunt for five straight weekends of spooky fun for all ages, including both Family By Day and Fright By Night activities, in addition to all the Theme Park rides. 
Family By Day Halloween festivities take over the park starting at noon every Saturday and Sunday through October 30th.  Little ghosts and goblins can safely enjoy free candy on the Trick or Treat Trail and partake in several Halloween themed interactive challenges, including pumpkin decorating, daily costume contests and can compete to win as they battle it out in Ghoul’s Gauntlet. 
Fright By Night takes over when the sun goes down and blood-curdling shrieks, shrills and chills will take place, starting at 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Prepare to be on alert all around you as Fright Fest comes alive. Get terrorized in the all new haunted house for 2016, No Vacancy: Where Check Out Time is Never. Guests can explore the nightmarish inn where creatures lurk around every turn and the building comes alive with terror! See if you have what it takes to escape this insidious hotel alive. Plus, three new TERRORtories: Ripper TownChainsaw, Texas and Killer CreekThese terrifying areas are filled with fiendish killers, ghouls and demons who infiltrate the park at night. Don’t miss favorite frights like Big Top Freaks: What’s Left When The Circus Leaves Town and take part in a bone-chilling live performance bringing stories of the dead back to life in SéanceFright By Night haunted attractions are recommended for ages 12 and older. 
Elitch Gardens’ Fright Fest will be open every Friday night, Saturday and Sunday from September 30th through October 30th. In addition to all the ghastly fun, guests can take one last spin on their favorite thrill rides. No Vacancy, Big Top Freaks and Séance will have an additional fee, but your screams are priceless!
