Elitch Gardens Debuts New Meow Wolf Ride Kaleidoscape This Saturday

Theme park opens to guests beginning April 20th

DENVER, CO (April 18, 2019) – Hang on to your hats and secure all loose items – Denver’s unofficial start to summer is here as Elitch Gardens officially opens this weekend, April 20 and 21, for its 129th consecutive year of high thrills and family fun! Be prepared to enter a cosmic void and discover the wonders of quantum travel with the highly anticipated new attraction, Meow Wolf’s Kaleidoscape. This one-of-a-kind experience is ready to send riders on a mind-bending voyage through the multiverse.

Meow Wolf’s Kaleidoscape is not a roller coaster; it’s a thrill ride for the mind. The newest installation from the brains behind Santa Fe’s iconic House of Eternal Return takes passengers on an interactive, artist-driven journey of creative discovery. In addition to Meow Wolf’s team of artists led by co-founders Emily Montoya and Matt King, seven Denver-based artists also contributed to Kaleidoscape, including Frankie Toan, Laleh Mehran, Kenzie Sitterud, Chris Coleman, Michael Ortiz, Brick Suede and Katie Caron.

“This phenomenally cool new dark ride is jam-packed with unique art scenes,” said Lori Kaupp, Elitch Gardens’ Director of Operations. “You’ll want to ride over and over again to see everything that is Kaleidoscape.”

Guests can experience Kaleidoscape this year at Elitch Gardens before the new Meow Wolf exhibit debuts in Denver in 2020. Meow Wolf is composed of 400+ artists across all disciplines, including architecture, sculpture, painting, photography, video, virtual and augmented reality, music engineering, narrative writing, performance and more. The art is bold, daring, unabashedly unique, and challenges everyday norms through immersive experiences that transport audiences of all ages into fantastic realms of story and explanation.

This season at Elitch Gardens boasts 136 days of screaming fun. From thrilling roller coasters to pint-sized adventures, a splashin’ water park and tons of special events, there’s fun for all. Guests can also enjoy six concerts, six Dive-In movies and three fireworks shows all free with park admission. A Season Pass is the best value for family fun and pays for itself in less than two visits. Right now, a Season Pass is just $69.99 and includes unlimited visits and more great perks. Guests must purchase and visit by April 28 to receive full benefits.

Elitch Gardens is also excited to bring back the family favorite Pre-K Pass. It’s FREE for kids three to five-years-old and includes unlimited visits to both the theme and water park for the entire 2019 season! For more information, or to register, go to ElitchGardens.com/Pre-K.
