Denver’s Largest Halloween Event Returns

FRIGHT FEST RETURNS TO ELITCH GARDENS,

DENVER’S LARGEST HALLOWEEN EVENT

Three New Haunted Attractions Top the List of Harrowing Haunts

as Zombies take over the Downtown Theme Park From Oct. 5-27

DENVER, CO (October 1, 2013) – Fright Fest is family friendly by day and frightening by night—so prepare to be scared! Denver’s daydreams and worst nightmares are coming to life from October 5-27 at Elitch Gardens. Fun and not-so-scary activities will be available for kids during the day, but Colorado is bound to sleep with the lights on after venturing through Elitch Gardens’ All-New haunted houses and watching live shows after dark throughout the Halloween season.

Family by Day Halloween festivities invade the park starting at noon on Saturdays and Sundays beginning on October 5. Little ghosts and goblins can enjoy the Trick or Treat Trail and partake in several Halloween themed interactive challenges. But be careful in KiddieLand- some skeletons in Sassy Sally’s closet have come to light and she has flown south for the winter, leaving the barn empty for Vick the Vulture to move in!  Beware of his sharp tongue and stupid jokes as he captivates the audience with his infectious laughter in this All-New children’s show.

Fright by Night takes over when the sun goes down and blood-curdling shrieks, shrills and chills will take place, starting at 5 P.M. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. This year, prepare to be on alert all around you, as a Zombie Apocalypse has occurred and these creatures lurk around every thrilling corner.Get terrorized with three All-New haunted attractions- Flesh Factory, Terror Chamber, and Séance. These multi-sensory experiences thrust guests into the action as they make their way through dark pathways, explore the site of a Zombie outbreak, and take part in bone-chilling live performances bringing stories of the undead back to life!

Elitch Gardens’ Fright Fest will be open to the public every Friday night, Saturday and Sunday from Oct. 5-27. In addition to all the ghastly fun, guests can take one last spin on their favorite thrill rides! Discount daily admission tickets online – just $34.99 for guests 48” or over; $31.99 for guests under 48” or 62 years and older.  Children 3 and under are free. Some attractions during Fright Fest will have an additional fee, but your screams are priceless!
