Denver Public Library’s Summer of Reading Book Drive
at Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park
Guests receive $12 off main gate full price admission with book donation
Denver, CO (June 17, 2014)— The the Denver Public Library celebrates Summer of Reading with Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park on Friday, June 20 with a book drive and special discounted park admission. Guests bringing a donation of a new children’s book to the Reading Rocket Bookmobile at the entrance of Elitch Gardens will receive $12 off Main Gate full price admission for that day to enjoy fun rides, cool water slides, and live entertainment. Families can also register for the Summer of Reading program on-site.
Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park has proudly partnered with the Denver Public Library for over 85 years. Each year, Elitch generously donates 20,000 free admission tickets as one of the many prizes kids can earn throughout the Summer of Reading program.

ABOUT THE SUMMER OF READING: Denver Public Library’s Summer of Reading Program provides free summer activities, suggestions for summer reading and cool incentives for all ages. The 2014 program is themed for various age groups, including, “Read With Me,” from birth to preschool, “Fizz, Boom, Read!” for kids K – 5th grade, and “Spark A Reaction,” for teens grades 6-12.
