Fright Fest 2013

TOP SECRET – Be on high ALERT. An incident has occurred at Elitch Gardens’ Scientific Laboratory. At approximately 6:42 A.M. on Friday the 13th of September, radioactive materials being developed to extend the life of the gardens flora were spilled and subsequently contaminated with a foreign substance. The laboratory has been placed on lock-down, but peculiar side-effects have already been noted as a result of this breakout of radiation. Test creatures who were reported dead have since been sighted, crawling and feeding on whatever flesh they can find. Their hunger seems to be unquenchable and they are reported to be highly infectious. The electricity of the building has failed and they lurk around every dark corner of the park. The entire park has been infected and overrun. We must find the antidote to save the park guests from this unspeakable outbreak, but their attention must not be attracted. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK…

Wigs are permitted but long hair may be restricted on certain rides for safety purposes. Other conservative costumes may be permitted but items such as capes may be restricted on certain rides for safety purposes. A store bought costume or homemade costume that does not have any elements that cover the face may be permitted. For example, a “princess” costume is okay but an “Easter bunny” costume is not. Weapons of any type, whether real or plastic, are not permitted in the park.

*Please note: the haunted houses are an extra-charge attraction. Admission can be purchased at any ticket booth or the entrance to either house. VIP combo  passes are available to go straight to the front of the line for both houses.
