Music Students of all levels are invited to the “Band, Orchestra, and Choir Fest 2008.” An exciting day of motivation, reward, learning and FUN, the day starts with a non-competitive music education performance experience. The adjudicators will critique your group on tape, and at the conclusion of your performance, will present the ensemble with a Gold, Silver or Bronze award plaque. The remainder of the day is your to enjoy the park!

"Spin, Pop, Boom!" ShowTake a walk on the wild side of science... Your head will spin as theMad Scientist leads you on this scientific adventure. We'll uncover the secrets of water that defies gravity, a flask that bungee jumps, and musical instruments played using fire! This fourth annual event is the first of its kind at Elitch Gardens. Step/Drill teams from all over the state are here to showcase their talent in front of official judges. The objective of the competition is to give the youth of our communities a unique opportunity and venue to show off their "skills." In addition, it is our hope that the competitors will receive positive recognition for the great thigns they are doing in their communities. Much like military drills, step incorporates synchronized body movements combined with rhythmic stomping and stepping dancing and clapping. Tickets are $24. free giveaways, a cash prize and trophies for the top three places. Elitch Gardens invites ALL SCOUTS to enjoy a fun filled day at the park! Kick off the week on Saturday, June 7 with fun filled activities. A portion of the ticket price goes to benefit the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
